With the Beta winding down, there's not a whole lot left that needs testing or documenting. I'm still putting finishing touches on my database, but for the most part I'm not turning up new goodies. I did manage to spot one new thing this week that I thought I'd share.
I was reviewing my Engineering recipes and noticed that Blizzard is showing a few schematics for fireworks that I never located. The recipes had no source location in Blizzard's list either. After reading the tooltip, I decided to take a shot in the dark. I crafted the Pandaria Fireworks on the off-chance that I might discover one of the other items. And it worked!! Kinda :)
Turns out that when you craft the Pandaria Fireworks - you end up with a packet (see pic above) that has a random stack of fireworks inside. These can be any of the new Panda fireworks. But it can also include a schematic for one of the other types of fireworks! I didn't get any duplicate recipes, but I did make a few packets that had no schematic. I would say it took me 7-8 tries to get all five recipes. You only need 3 gunpowder to make the Pandaria packet, so it's a fairly cheap way to pick up new schematics.
Here are the recipes I discovered:
I don't think the artwork is integrated on these items though, because the effects don't match the tooltip. So I can't really say how they look, but the tooltips make it sound pretty nifty :)
