I'm so glad to see Leatherworking recipes finally showing up since my main is a Leatherworker. I was able to snapshot a whole bunch of recipes from the trainer, but there are even more that I didn't nab. There's another two dozen recipes showing up as skill level 530. I decided to leave those for now since that is clearly not official. Perhaps later this week when I have more free time I'll go ahead and post them up, but for now we have plenty to gawk at with the attainable recipes :)
This is the longest list so far, so here we go!

And here is the trainer list with skill requirements and prices:

This is awesome. Been following your site for a while, and appreciate how you keep us updated about the beta.
ReplyDeleteYou bet! I enjoy bringing it to you guys :)
ReplyDeleteThank you very much! I remember Blizzard talking about simplifying the system some. I see haste, hit, resilience, crit and the new mastery stat there, but no mp5, attack or sp. Hmm!
ReplyDeleteYep, attack power, mp5, spell power and armor pen are all gone on the new gear. Same deal with quest rewards.
ReplyDeleteWhat does "Deep Healing" mean?
ReplyDelete"Deep Healing" is my mastery ability - this was taken on my resto druid.
ReplyDeleteHorribly late, but - am I reading it correctly that there is still no BOP crafted gear, only BOP enchants? /druid with tailoring crosses fingers
ReplyDeleteCaze: I'm sorry but no, there's still no BoP gear being provided except for the types of items you're already familiar with. For Tailoring this would be the cloak embroidery, Alchemists/Jewelcrafters get the trinkets, Leatherworkers get the bracer enchants, etc. Blizzard seems to be sticking with that system for Cataclysm.
ReplyDeleteHey there, where do I find Scarred Shell Fragments? I can't find them in beta ;/
ReplyDeleteAnon: If you skin "shelled" creatures you should get some. I believe I got the bulk of mine by farming crabs in Vash'jir. There are plenty of them wandering the ocean floor and for the most part no one bothers with them.
ReplyDeleteHeya,i wounder if i will need heavey boren leather and arctic fury to skill in cata.got all bank full whit it,and i wounder if i should sell them befor cata or save them for cata, please answer if you know:).Cya in cata dods
ReplyDeleteIf I were you I would sell all Northrend mats now. These items are unlikely to be needed for Cataclysm, they are not part of the 450-525 leveling process. The only usage I can see would be players leveling a new Leatherworker from scratch. Otherwise -- no.
ReplyDeletewow, thx for posting all these, quite a few! What about drops, like world and instance patterns?
ReplyDelete"crabs in Vash'jir", should be a run on this place
eventually though, glad on i'm a pvp server ><
Very few drop recipes have been implemented so far, the only ones I know about for sure are Jewelcrafting. There may be some new dungeon/raid drops but I've heard nothing about that yet. Definitely nothing related to Leatherworking.
ReplyDeleteIs there almost/none elemental shaman ones? Or am I missing them?
ReplyDeleteYes, there are mail equivalents of the "dark brand" gear you see in this list. I didn't include them because they were part of the 530 skill group. They've now been worked into the progression and I'll be putting that up soon. Mail gear is called "tsunami" and has random stats just like the Dark Brand set. Some of those items are INT/STAM and some AGI/STAM. I've seen them on the Auction House, so I know the random covers both versions.
ReplyDeleteno mounts pets, or whips this time??
ReplyDeleteSo far nothing like that. However, the Leather Trader has yet to make a debut, so novelty items could be incoming :)
ReplyDeleteFrom where in Twilight Highlands you can buy the patterns after 510 skill? thx
ReplyDeleteAlliance Vendor or Horde Vendor, both of which are listed with the proper recipes on our Leatherworking Recipe Chart at Crafter's Tome.
ReplyDeletewhere in the world is the vendor that swaps 10 heavy savage for patterns for alliance ... i cant find it anywhere ....
ReplyDeletenm.. just found it ... been looking for hours lol
ReplyDeleteThe vendors are linked in the Comment above you :)
ReplyDeleteRazor-edged cloak is no longer an epic craft. It's stats have been scaled down and requires less mats it's ilevel has been dropped to 346. Just thought I'd let you know so you could update your site.
ReplyDeleteVellik.
Thanks for the tip, I'll make sure I get that information corrected!
ReplyDeleteI am sober.....
