And now for something completely different...

Hi Friend,

I know you are a huge fan of WoW and you will do whatever you have to do to be UB3R 1337 H4X0RZ , so I am letting you in on a secret. Before you get suspicious, this doesn't involve gold-farming, powerleveling services or anything that costs you money. All you have to do is forward this email to 10 friends who also play WoW. This is no joke. Send no money. But you have only 24 hours to forward this email to 10 WoW friends.

A player in Europe passed this email on to 15 guildmates and the next time he logged in, he got a random epic world drop worth over TWO THOUSAND GOLD! That night he went on a raid and he won the roll for not one, but two Warglaives of Azzinoth - the best swords in the game!! Wouldn't we all love to have that kind of luck? YOU CAN and all you have to do is send this email to at least 10 WoW players.

Another gamer in Australia broke the chain and found that his account had been banned the next time he tried to log in. He spent over a week trying to get his account restored, only to find that all his little brother had sold all his gear and spent all his money on a Snowmaster 9000, 500 Gnome Effigies and a Steamy Romance Novel. Don't be like that loser - keep the chain going.

You must email at least TEN COPIES of this message within 24 hours of receiving it. Those who do will reap huge rewards the next time they play WoW. Those who don't will be PWNED by a level 61 NOOB the next time they step foot into a BG. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!

Your Friend,

Elroy Jenkins

  1. Rofl, taking a break from the WotLK parade to do something fun. I'm looking to put together a poll with all the suggestions from the crafting poll, so expect that later in the week :)

  2. LOL, love this post. It is a great take on all the chain letters you used to receive and never did anything with.

  3. Hmmm...I thought something seemed oddly familiar about the name signed at the end of the chainmail. I wonder if "Elroy Jenkins" is any relation to "Leroy Jenkins" who has utube vids up all over the place with his antics of causing raids to bust. I wonder if this is more antics of a different type?

  4. I think the best part of this is:

    Possibly related posts: (automatically generated)

    * SKYY Vodka
    * Confessions of a Wow-tard

    Priceless! not to mention a good laugh at work.

    P.S. no offense meant :P

  5. No kidding, that's some weird stuff. I wonder if there's any way to turn that junk off? Not sure I want to promote random blogs, especially if they aren't even WoW-related.

  6. Agreed. It may be something from the wordpress domain or a feature they've put in there... I know on my self hosted site it is not included...

    Good luck!
